Selvedge Denim Jeans
Crafted from deadstock Cone Mills raw selvedge denim. Cut to a relaxed fit with a low-rise and wide legs flared at the knee.
My second attempt at making jeans. I really wanted to honour jean making heritage and include as many of the hallmarks of a well constructed pair as I could. I learned a ton and definitely found the limit of my single needle 70’s sears kenmore!
These were made using a heavily modified pattern from the early 2000’s. Most notably the front and back rise was decreased, and the leg shape altered to be roomier in the thigh and flare more at the knee.
